Mac OS X 10.1 Setup

Go to the Apple Menu and select System Preferences...

Click on Internet,

and click the Email Tab.

Select your Default Email Reader and enter your other settings, as shown above.
This includes your Finest Planet email address, user name and password,
Also enter our Incoming (pop.finestplanet.com)
and Outgoing (smtp.finestplanet.com) Mail Servers.

Click on Show All,
 
 

and click on Network.

Click the TCP/IP tab, and type in the Domain Name Servers
216.98.128.70 and 216.98.138.70 as shown above.

Click the PPP tab,

and enter the information as shown above.
This includes arrowheadnet as the Service Provider,
the local arrowheadnet dialup number,
and your Account Name with extension:
In the Account Name field, type in one of the following settings:
(This will be based on the type of service you ordered)

California Plus your user name@tcs (without the.com)
National Basic your user name.tcs@dialusa
National Plus your user name.tcs@anywhere
Click Apply Now

and close System Preferences.
 
 

To Connect to the Internet:

Click on Finder in the Dock,

Click on Applications,

and open Internet Connect.

Be sure your settings are correct and click Connect.

If Show modem status in menu bar is checked,
you can also connect using the modem menu.
